@Blort ; ) I really like the way Enafore gives me the option to disable infinite scroll. But I'd like it better if that was the default, and infinite scroll was opt-in. Along with any others features that can lead to relentless emotional activation.

What made me start using third-party was when I first set up a #Mastodon account, and found myself in the overwhelming sensory nightmare of the original 3-column layout. I noticed almost immediately how grumpy it made my posting, and how many more flame wars I got into than when I was on quitter.se (GNU social + Qvitter). Because it was keeping me in relentless emotional activation.
I'm really glad the default Mastodon UI now is a more sane, minimalist one-column layout.
🚨Better than an abs crunch: two unconventional core exercises for strength, spine health, and healthy aging.
✨They are demonstrated by my online fitness client, a 66-year-young rockstar who knows that staying strong is the key to keeping up with his grandkids.

Oh I agree. Anyone who's not actively trying to make themselves sicker is a step away from proposing the institutional murder of disabled people to improve the human breeding stock 🤦♂️
Like the word "fascist", the word "eugenics" has a specific and important meaning. Please stop using it to mean any health-related policy or philosophy you're not enthusiastic about.
The Trump regime continues to double down on their eugenicist choices, nominating Casey Means, a wellness influencer, for surgeon general.
I’ve said for a long time that “wellness” is eugenics adjacent.
While there’s nothing wrong with a healthy lifestyle, no amount of green juice, yoga, meditation or sunlight can cure disabilities.
What’s worse, wellness “influencers” almost always blame the chronically ill for not trying hard enough.
Between Means, Prasad, RFK Jr and Dr Oz, things look bleak for those with disabilities (but great for anyone hawking supplements!)
