The idea of that young people lack grit, or need to build resilience as part of their education, as a way of seeking to reverse the mental health crisis among out young people is really just more 'victim blaming';
we need not just to support young people but ask: what is it about modern life (in the UK) that causes such anguish & mental health difficulties?
Otherwise we are just trying to deal with the symptom(s) not the cause of the problem.
