‚Thousands of protesters took to the streets in Argentina’s capital #BuenosAires last week (11 February) to oppose #labour reforms that restrict the right to strike and roll back employment benefits. The protests, supported by the country’s largest unions, were repeatedly attacked by policeusing tear gas, rubber bullets, and water cannons.
According to Argentina’s union federation, more than 700,000 people marched in Buenos Aires and 1.5 million took part across the country in support of “people’s rights, the separation of powers, democracy and the constitution.”

‚The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has reportedly been asking tech companies for information on accounts posting anti-ICE sentiments.
According to The New York Times, #DHS has sent hundreds of administrative subpoenas to Google, Reddit, Discord and Meta over the past few months.
Homeland Security asked the companies for names, email addresses, telephone numbers and any other identifying detail for accounts that have criticized the #US #Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency or have reported the location of its agents.

"Seit 1997 "gedenken" Rechtsextreme aus Ungarn und ganz Europa mit einem jährlichen Aufmarsch der deutschen Wehrmacht, Einheiten der Waffen-SS und ihren ungarischen Kollaborateuren. Seit Beginn ist die Veranstaltung für die rechtsextreme Szene in Europa ein wichtiges Event, das auch zur Vernetzung dient. Mal größer, mal kleiner, versammelten sich besonders in den letzten Jahren zwischen 1000 und 2000 Neonazis in Budapest. Getragen und ausgerichtet wurde das faschistische "Gedenken" zu Beginn durch die Nationalistische Front, seit 2003 übernahm der ungarische Ableger von Blood and Honour (ein in Deutschland bereits im Jahr 2000 verbotenes, rechtsextremes Netzwerk) und Légió Hungária (eine paramilitärisch organisierte rechtsextreme Gruppierung) die Organisation des rechtsextremen Großevents. Hauptorganisatoren der Veranstaltung waren und sind daneben vor allem die Hammerskins Ungarn, der rechtsextreme Verband Jugendbewegung der 64 Grafschaften und die Skinheadgruppe Skins4Skins Ungarn."
