a reminder to the nation building the (second) fascist state of the 21st century: it took ukrainians 124 day to get rid of the «president» who wanted to sell the nation to russians:
- 2013-10-21 the government of the "regionals" suspends preparations for signing the association agreement between #ukraine and the #eu, society becomes aware of the government and president's plans for rapprochement with moscow, students gather for a protest on independence square (maidan); about 1.5 thousand people on the square.
- 2013-10-22 (+ 1 day) about 3-5 thousand people on the square.
- 2013-10-24 (+ 3 days) a hundred-thousandth rally on independence square in kyiv demanding the resignation of the government; about 100-150 thousand people on the square.
- 2013-10-30 (+ 9 days) "berkut" (special forces of the police) spectacularly, brutally beat participants of the protests in kyiv.
- 2013-11-01 (+ 12 days) all-ukrainian veche (gathering) in kyiv; from that time on, the maidan was occupied by protesters round the clock; about 500 thousand participants.
- 2014-01-22 (+ 94 days) protesters serhiy nigoyan and mykhailo zhiznievsky died from bullets of "law-enforcement forces", the next day two more protesters died from their wounds; later, the body of another activist was found in the forest, whom "law-enforcement forces" had kidnapped from the hospital and killed; these are the first 5 fatalities.
- 2014-02-18 (+ 120 days) snipers shoot about twenty protesters; "heavenly hundred".
- 2014-02-21 (+ 123 days) the verkhovna rada adopts a decision to reboot the government, but the people's assembly on the maidan puts forward an ultimatum: down with the president; yanukovych flees kyiv.
- 2014-02-22 (+ 124 days) yanukovych (as it later turns out) fled to #russia (of course).
- 2014-02-25 (+ 127 days) president yanukovych is put on the wanted list as a suspect in crimes against the people and the state.
124 fucking days. for approx. 52 of them there were a constant, day and night presence of tens, hundrends of thousands protesters on the main square of the ukrainian capital, in immediate vicinity of the governmental and presidential buildings; it was in the middle of a fucking winter while the «berkut» (and «guests» from russia) was making every effort and using every force available to them short of tanks to remove those people.
on the 65th day yanukovitch was finally on the «wanted» list.
show your fucking balls already. where is the breaking point of your patience?
