My latest is about Wael Tarabishi, a 30 year old disabled US citizen who relied on his father for full time care.

ICE grabbed Maher when he showed up for his yearly immigration check in.

Wael pleaded for his release. He told ICE he would die without his caregiver.

They didn’t care. Wael died three months later.

His dad never got to say goodbye.

His story deserves to be told.

ICE ensured his last months were filled with unnecessary pain and suffering.

This case was a total clusterfuck which started when the agents stopped Aljorna when they were actually looking for someone named Barrera.

Aljorna and Sosa-Celis were actually detained twice on the false testimony of the #ICE agents.

In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi.

He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.

At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.

Wael died three months later.

ICE caused his death.

They didn’t even get to say goodbye.
