Gonna go out on a limb and say that the #UnitedKingdom should definitely let #KierStarmer just serve his term rather than force him out.

After five different Tory leaders, all of whom got worse and worse after the last was forced out, surely you've learnt something?

I'm no #Starmer fan but I don't see anyone else from #Labour doing a better job. He's been the most "strong and stable" PM for over a decade.

@matt It seems that your idea of " #StrongAndStable" is a man who:

1/ broke all the 10 pledges which won him the #LabourParty leadership;
2/ reshuffled his great offices of state after only 15 months;
3/ started out by picking a fight with his own party over core values: starving kids & freezing grannies;
4/ slashed development aid, starving the world's poor to buy arms;
5/ persecuted opponents of genocide as "terrorist".
Etc.

That's not strong and not stable. It's mendacious #sociopathy.

If your only tool is a hammer, every issue looks like a nail. If you only think of politics through the lense of electoralism, you'll believe such ridiculous things like a need to back the greens because anything else splits the vote.

Which historic changes have been achieved in parliament? None. They were enacted by a parliament, but fought for by mass organizing and in protest on the streets. The best long term alternative I see to the Tories, Labour, and even Reform, is grassroots community organizing, which is the goal of Your Party.

Emancipating people, showing them how they can fight for themselves, instead of carrying the faulty belief that we need representatives to fight for us.

@ErikUden While in principle I like your partys organizational principles the best, its still electoralism and material forces will cause capitalists to infiltrate and corrupt your party, remember 100 years ago labour was a party of the labour movement

You're right that changes are fought for on the ground but we cant let the bells and whistles of party organising hamper the movement, mutual aid is not charity, as soon as our movement becomes solely dependant on investment from yourparty we will become party organs. I'm not saying dont take the money because initial set up can take a lot of cash but dont become dependant on it, build dual power directly coops and mutual aid structures of all kinds

Thomas Piketty (interviewed in the FT) thinks that there's a real danger that Keir Starmer will destroy the Labour Party even more effectively than François Hollande destroyed the French Socialist party....

as Piketty warns, Labour 'have to move left in terms of economic & fiscal policies because the UK has so many parties on the right already. You cannot compete with the Conservative & Reform parties on the right'!

Sadly advice that will be ignored!
