A new Al tool created by Palantir, is now installed on police computers in the US. After pulling you over in a traffic stop, they can simply type in some of your information and see all the info on your bank account and location history anytime.

ICE, for its part, is taking pictures of people on the street and using an app called Mobile Fortify to check the images against databases, officials said. And it is wielding its $30 billion budget, tripled by Trump’s sweeping 2025 budget legislation, to expand its surveillance capabilities with data from license-plate readers, social media scrapers and location-tracking services.

Since federal authorities got Apple and Google to take down some raid-tracking apps such as ICEBlock, activists have turned to more obscure sites and direct methods. During the Los Angeles enforcement surge last year, they posted fliers around town bearing the names and faces of ICE agents.

Chinese authorities have told domestic companies to stop using cybersecurity software made by more than a dozen firms from the U.S. and Israel due to national security concerns, three people briefed on the matter said. As trade and diplomatic tensions flare between China and the U.S. and both sides vie for tech supremacy, Beijing has been keen to replace Western-made technology with domestic alternatives. The U.S. companies whose cybersecurity software has been banned include Broadcom-owned VMware, Palo Alto ‌Networks and Fortinet, while the Israeli companies include Check Point Software Technologies, two of the sources said.
