„Wir haben nach einem wochenlangen (eigentlich monatelangen) Prozess beschlossen, dass wir die Fahrt, so wie sie geplant ist, nicht verantworten können. Wir würden euch gerne erklären, weshalb, denn die Tragweite der politischen Situation und Entscheidungen ist enorm, nicht wirklich vorhersehbar und leider ein trauriger Meilenstein.

Wie schon in der vorrangegangenen Nachricht erklärt, wurde "die Antifa" in Ungarn ja als terroristisch eingestuft. Das wussten wir bereits als wir die Idee zur gemeinsamen Anreise hatten, was hat sich also geändert?

You deleted your first, much more honest, personal, and understandable response just to replace it with "I am a loyal Diem25 company person, and I marginalize and even justify anti-Semitic death threats against your imprisoned comrades from #AntifaOst by saying that they are just one problem among millions that is secondary to the overarching mission 'We must replace the fascist military-industrial complex'?

Replace it with what?

With large organizations like #diem25 whose *official position* (not just the meaning of some members as you suggest) is to support even Jew-hating pro-Palestinian activists from #handala in #leipzig as a large organization, just as they threaten my people, whom the fascist military-industrial complex is letting rot in its prisons, with death instead of supporting them in solidarity?

Because they dared to wear a NOVA festival shirt?

By saying “Just complaining doesn't help,” you are also implying that you believe your way is the only true way - or - that you are not interested in the commitment of others - or - that you assume everyone else is just a cry-baby who complains a lot but does nothing.

But guess what, I was just too busy to already tell you about things that support your totally correct thesis, “I think we need to form big communities to confront the threats we face right now.”

I would have liked to contrast your rather authoritarian-centralist approach of #Diem25 with an anti-authoritarian, decentralized, and federated approach, perhaps trying to convince you of the importance of diversity of tactics, and, based on a common consensus on this, inviting you to take a look at our project for a “PayPal Killer” grass roots movement @taler, and to help develop the technology and strategy for it in a small and conspiratorial tech collective.

But you have now permanently disqualified yourself from that, and that makes me really, really and very sad. ​

I wish you had accepted the “no need to argue, you do you” approach, because then at least I would have been left with the illusion that we can be not only leftists, but also comrades.

Sul caso del respingimento a Tolosa della fumettista italiana Elena Mistrello mi sembra abbiano parlato molto i media francesi, poco i nostri. Io qui vi condivido l'intervista con @radiondadurto
che si può ascoltare o scaricare, così è lei a raccontare a viva voce cosa è accaduto.
In pratica l'equivalenza antifascista=terrorista ha varcato allegramente l'Atlantico e le polizie la applicano con convinzione.

Jonathan is one of four antifascists convicted in May 2023 by German courts for defending the city of Leipzig from a neo-nazis. He was sentenced to at least two years and three months in prison.

In December of 2017, Rodrigo was out with friends at a bar in Spain when they were approached by a man who began insulting Rodrigo, calling him “sudaka” (a derogatory term for Latin Americans) and telling him to go back to his country. As Rodrigo attempted to leave the bar, Victor Lainez, a member of the fascist Falange group with many friends in the local fascist scene, pulled a knife. Rodrigo defended himself and in the ensuing fight, Lainez was killed.

Rodrigo is presently serving an 18-year prison sentence.
