So, for all of the #django and #wagtail developers out there who would like to see more integration between the existing web and the #fediverse, could you all please take a look at https://github.com/wagtail/wagtail/discussions/9732#discussioncomment-13650918 and give some support for this idea?

Looks like #tumblr is (again!) dialing back its plan to integrate with AP, so maybe this would bring some more interest into other alternatives.

Automattic puts WordPress migration on hold to focus on user requests instead. CEO Mullenweg says they'd implement ActivityPub directly if there's enough demand though.

At least in the short term. So if you're active on Tumblr and want it to federate over ActivityPub, there's 2 things you can do;

* tell Tumblr it's a priority for you

* join a service hosting Wafr, the fediverse-native answer to Tumblr, post your stuff there, and tell Tumblr you're doing that
