#lacraia is a text oriented writing site for people in Brazil powered by #WriteFreely and as such also readable via Gopher. I made a post where I want to share the page above shown on various old platforms.

So if you have such hardware please point your client to the link above and reply here with a picture. I would be very grateful and so happy to link to them in further edits to the page.

Note the page is in Portuguese so it uses 8859-1 encoding to show Latin accents — which may or may not work on your system and it’s ok.

PS: Don’t be afraid of the .ia.br in the domain name. It is an intentional 🇧🇷 joke about texts being written by pesky humans.

#SelfHosting week 1, phase 3.
Decision is almost made, considering a site based on hybrid solutions:
Newsletter -> buttondown
stories -> writefreely
interactions/comments -> lemmy (where stories from writefreely will spread to fediverse) and at this point I find less useful to federate Writefreely, given that this platform has no comments. Makes sense a "reply via e-mail" pointing to LetterBird page I have, and "follow [category/community] on Lemmy to comment via Fediverse.
What's missing? A stable navigation menu, and an internal search engine. Found a way to place a landing for the site, through writefreely's admin settings.
My main (no longer so hidden) intention is get rid of WordPress, despite self-hosted its philosophy is drastically changing.
And I even have Bearblog which solves some of the issues for nav menu and maybe search bar, but it's a centralized platform depending on one person only. Of course accessibility is the main focus, both in back and front-end.

Any suggestion or feedback is highly appreciated, this month will be dedicated to tests and experiments.

Tecnicamente falando, a contagem de visualizações deve incrementar a cada requisição da publicação no servidor, e isso também pode ocorrer quando ela é entregue a uma instância do ActivityPub, assim como ao ser carregada por algum cliente que simplesmente mostra uma previsão. Sem forçar execução remota de JavaScript (felizmente) não dá pra distinguir se a página efetivamente foi visualizada na íntegra em um navegador.
