The final Liquid Glass is super cringe. Here some of the worst moments. It is tech-broey, immature and an accessibility dumpster fire.
The lack of understanding the difference between design and decoration is incredible.

Earthship Brighton and the Low Carbon Trust
"Earthships are cutting edge 'green' buildings, constructed using waste car tyres and other recycled materials. They use the planets natural systems to provide all utilities - using the sun's energy and rain to provide heat, power and water."

I've been focusing on the whole customer experience just as much as the products themselves. Here's a sneak peak of my polymailer and shipping tape designs. Pretty excited about them.
Here are my 3 iterations of apparel tags (from top to bottom). I actually had each set printed as I designed them because I thought that was what I was going to go with. I still like the 2 older ones, but the 3rd one is what I am going with branding-wise.
Added some more design work to my website (as well as updated my shop illustration to show the updated work).
I really don't remember if I ever mentioned it before (probably have), but I am slowly and steadily building my own little apparel brand and will have an online store up hopefully sooner than later. I will also eventually sell Tapbots-related stuff as well and the quality is going to be amazing.

Nice touch, designing the poster for the Together for Palestine charity fundraiser to look like a petition.
"The absurdity of the context, the cognitive dissonance in our lives today, and the conditions that led to the need for the existence of this charity for a campaign to be written, justified, shaped, and sold, made the design task very difficult."

- Pick a website (ideally not too complex)
2) Pick a style from https://cari.institute/aesthetics/ (they have about 95 styles, in case you want to pick by a random number)
3) Redesign 1) in the style of 2

Great article by @christopherdrum about the legendary Deluxe Paint (DPaint) Amiga pixel editor:

I dearly miss a mention of @PyDPainter though, the most authentic DPaint recreation I know, available for Windows and macOS…

Y’all. I did it. I just published my very first macOS app. 🎉
It’s a color contrast checker for accessibility compliance. I designed and built it for myself, but I’m also gifting it to the world.
It’s not in the App Store, but it is signed for safety. And it will let you know when there’s an update.
I’m a little giddy about it. 😊

I know likes, faves, and reposts don’t matter, but I cant help but think either I’m terrible at social media or everything I make is completely forgettable. Probably a bit of both. And not talking specifically about Mastodon. It’s everywhere. But thankfully I love what I do and that’s what truly matters. Someday I’ll be able to share something cool.
Fingerspitzengefühl: IP vs process knowledge.
' But here's the thing: while "IP" can be bought and sold by the capital classes, process knowledge is inseparably vested in the minds and muscle-memory of their workers. '
' The exaltation of "IP" over process knowledge is part of the ancient practice of bosses denigrating their workers' contribution to the bottom line. It's key to the myth that workers can be replaced by AI: an AI can consume all the "IP" produced by workers, but it doesn't have their process knowledge. It can't, because process knowledge is embodied and enmeshed, it is relational and physical. It doesn't appear in training data. '

' Fingerspitzengefühl [ˈfɪŋɐˌʃpɪtsənɡəˌfyːl] is a German term, literally meaning "finger tips feeling" and meaning intuitive flair or instinct.** It describes a great situational awareness**... '

Made some changes to the shop icon I made a few months ago. Well it's not really an icon anymore. I still want to add a bike leaning against the vending machine and a parked car peaking through one of the ends of the image, but the bike illustration is stressing me out with all the details. 😅 I'll get them in someday.
