Just realized that when #Chrome and then #Firefox removed ogg #theora in 2024, they also broke the wisp-mode preview on my website.

Because ogg theora was (is?) the default format of recordmydesktop.

Switched to mp4+vp9 now, but still: the site was broken and I had to fix it manually.

Web standards promised not to do that:

Update (2022-02-04): Inspired by the FOSDEM talk Lisp, but Beautiful; Lisp for Everyone (video: lispforeveryone.webm) by Christine Lemmer-Webber, wisp-mode 0.3.0 now provides wisp-color-indentation-minor-mode — optional highlighting of the semantic indentation level using a light background color:

Also there is an experimental mode that highlights the current indentation level, but being experimental means that it might go away or receive bigger changes to behavior:

Was ist der Digital Independence Day?
Der #DiDay ist eine gemeinsame Initiative vieler Organisationen, Verbände und Institutionen, die von Save Social - Networks For Democracy in Hamburg koordiniert wird. Die Initiative wurde beim letzten Congress von Mark-Uwe Kling (der mit dem Känguru) und Linus Neumann (der vom CCC) angekündigt.
Aktuell wird der DI.DAY von 44 Organisationen unterstützt. Darunter findet man fast alle, die in der Freien Software Szene eine Rolle spielen, wie z. B.: dem CCC, Wikimedia, Mastodon, Ecosia, Nextcloud, der Open Search Foundation, Digitalcourage, dem SUMA e.V., der Digitalen Gesellschaft, Tuta und viele andere.

Really, the only thing you need to know about Google's agentic #AI #Chrome "Auto Browsing" feature is that #Google says YOU are responsible for all actions the agentic AI takes on your behalf.

That's the whole ballgame. Right off the cliff. Don't touch it. Don't use it. Don't get anywhere near it.
