Dreamt a black-and-white dream that was an imaginary episode of the X-Files, but one of the quirky episodes, like Jose Chung's Outer Space or Postmodern Prometheus.
The episode revolved around a young girl who was being stalked by a vampire, with bad, vampiric things happening to people close to her and associated with her.
The climax of the episode came with the vampire, similar in monstrous appearance to Nosferatu, revealing himself in the room where the girl was being held for her protection.
But plot twist! He was actually a vampire who had chosen to be good, and had been working to protect her against an evil vampire in spectral form that had actually been the one stalking her. He, being a vampire, could see the spectral vampire, whereas humans could not, leading the characters in the episode to mistakenly conclude that he was the one who had been stalking her and committing the acts of evil.
Unfortunately for him, one of the minor characters from the episode showed up right at that moment with a crucifix in an attempt to protect the girl, and the divine light shining from it destroyed both him and the spectral vampire. Mulder, of course, was the only one to have realized what was going on, and he shouted to the other character to stop, but it was too late.
Fortunately for the vampire, his act of self-sacrifice lifted the vampire's curse from him and he was able to die peacefully, once again a human.
