Grounding my work in 4 core values to help you live a happier and healthier life. This is what you can expect from me here:

1. Bliss: We will find the quiet, internal joy that comes from a balanced life

2. Fitness: We will build the physical Yang energy and strength you need to move through the world

3. Love: We will cultivate deep self-respect and compassion for ourselves and others

4. Wellness: We will sustain the Yin energy of rest, recovery, and holistic health

True health is a system where every part supports the whole. When we align these values, we stop performing and start living with sovereignty.

Which of these values do you need to focus on today?

True health is a system where every part supports the whole.

I envision true health as a balance between 2 forces:

1. Fitness is your Yang energy: This is your outward energy. It provides the action and strength you need to move and perform.

2. Wellness is your Yin energy: This is your inward energy. It provides the rest and recovery you need to heal and stay grounded.

One cannot function well without the other. When you respect both, you create a sustainable system. You stop performing for others and start living for yourself.

How do you balance your internal and external energy today?

Most people try to fix their minds while ignoring their bodies. You cannot run high-level "Software" on broken "Hardware."

I am grateful to share my system work with you. I studied Psychology and Kinesiology at UBC Vancouver because I see the human system as one integrated piece.

To fund my degree, I worked as a student teacher in gyms and community centres.

Later, I studied nutrition and culinary arts because food is my love language. I want every meal to be flavourful and nutritious!

Choosing to build a durable system is the ultimate act of Self-Respect. It is how we care for our "Hardware" so our "Software" can shine.

I’ve written a new piece about the "Magnificent 7"—the role models who shaped my work. From ancient TCM to modern engineering, these architects proved that wellness is about building a body that can handle the demands of your life.

Read the story and meet the Magnificent 7 here

We often try to fix our "Software" (our thoughts) but ignore our "Hardware" (our body).

I believe true power comes when they work as one. By mixing the science of how we move (Kinesiology) with how we think (Psychology), we stop "forcing" life and start flowing through it.

Taking charge of your health is the ultimate act of Self-Respect. It is about honouring your energy so you can lead without burning out.

What you get every month: I launched a monthly newsletter on LinkedIn to help you stay strong and balanced.

Here is how you benefit:
1. More Energy: Use TCM and Qigong to clear tiredness and feel alive
2. Less Stress: Simple Health Psychology tools to stay calm and focused
3. Daily Fitness: Practical wellness tips that actually fit into a busy life
4. Deep Connection: Use emotional hygiene to beat loneliness and build real bonds

We don't need to struggle to be well; we just need to clear the path. Come join me!

Simple Qigong: 2-minute exercise you can do at home right now to feel your natural flow.

The Move: Gathering the Clouds

Stand Still: Place your feet shoulder-width apart. Let your knees be soft (not locked). Let your arms hang at your sides.

The Breath: Breathe in slowly through your nose. Breathe out slowly through your mouth.

The Movement: As you breathe in, slowly lift your arms out to the sides and up toward the sky. Imagine you are gathering soft, white clouds.

As you breathe out, turn your palms down. Slowly push your hands down in front of your body, as if you are smoothing out a silk sheet.

The Feel: Keep your shoulders low and relaxed. Your hands should move like they are moving through warm water.

When you match your breath to your movement, you tell your nervous system that you are safe. This is Emotional Hygiene in action. It washes away the stress of the day.

The Result: After 10 breaths, notice do your shoulders feel lighter?

In my last post, I mentioned Qigong as a way to return to your natural flow.

Think of it as the grandfather of Tai Chi. It is a very old system from China used for healing.

"Qi" means energy or life force. "Gong" means work or practice. So, Qigong is the practice of working with your energy.

It is a series of slow, gentle movements mixed with deep breathing.

In our Resonant Life OS, we use Qigong to clear the "static" or stress from our nervous system.

When you move slowly and breathe deeply, you tell your body it is safe. This turns off the "Force" (stress) and turns on your "Power" (natural energy).

Why I recommend Qigong:
1. easy for any body type or age
2. helps you listen to the signals your body is sending
3. makes your smile feel soft and natural again

When we practice these movements, we are not "fixing" ourselves. We are just removing the blocks so our natural health can shine through.

I will share a simple move you can try at home very soon.

Wellness is your natural state. Your body was designed to feel good, to be strong, and for you to have a soft, gentle smile. This is the baseline of your system.

When we feel "dis-ease" or sickness, it is not an enemy. It is a signal from your body. It is a blinking light telling you to slow down. It is an invitation to relax and take a deep breath.

In my Resonant Life OS, we treat these signals with deep reverence. We do not fight the body. We listen deeper. We ask the system what it needs to return to its natural flow.

Moving from "Force" to "Power" means learning to trust these signals. When you stop fighting and start breathing, you return to your center. This is where your strength lives. This is where your smile becomes natural again.

Health is not something you have to chase. It is something you return to by removing the noise of stress.

Recommend Qigong (grandfather to taichi) to return to your flow. Will share more soon.

I want to introduce the concept of Biological Debt. Most leaders focus on their mindset, but they forget that the body stores the "debt" of past stress and unprocessed grief.

When this debt gets too high, your energy highways (meridians) become blocked. This is why you feel "heavy," tired, or stuck in brain fog. You cannot lead with a system that is crashing.

I am anchoring this work in the idea of Self-Respect. Choosing to pay off your biological debt with a Somatic Audit is how you maintain your architecture.

It makes your boundaries un-hackable and your leadership effortless. I have written a full article explaining how to flush the "old code" from your system and what to expect during a healing crisis.

1of2: Doing nothing is the ultimate power move for your health this year.

If you are skipping parties and staying home, you aren't being a hermit. You are practicing essential Emotional Hygiene.

This need for quiet is driven by a biological process called Sensory Gating. It is your brain’s natural ability to filter out background noise so you can stay calm and focused.

When you are overwhelmed, this "gate" gets stuck open. Every conversation feels too loud and every plan feels like a heavy weight.

Choosing to be alone is how you manually close that gate to let your system reset. In my Resonant Life OS, choosing peace is a fundamental act of self-respect.

It is the practical choice to stop the drain on your frequency before you reach total burnout.

You are not "missing out" on life; you are building the foundation so you can actually live it truthfully later.

When you honour your privacy, you tell yourself that your peace is worth more than any invitation.

(next thread for 3 tips)

2of2: If you need to tell your friends you are staying in, keep it simple:

1. "Thanks for thinking of me, but I’m in a period of quiet rest and not making social plans right now"

2. "I value our friendship, but my battery is empty and I need this time at home to recharge"

3. "I’m focusing on my own recovery this week to start the year right, so I have to miss this one"

This is how you keep your energy clear and stop carrying old stress into a new year.

By protecting your internal rhythm, you ensure your frequency remains your own.

Creativity and Sensory Gating

It is possible that some risk factors that are associated with elevated psychopathology, such as leaky sensory gating, might also, in combination with other protective factors, be a "risk" factor for increased creative achievement.

🌻 Your emotional system is the engine of your success. But if you’re always running on empty, you need more than self-care—you need Emotional Hygiene.

I'm a systems person, and I look to the beautiful plumeria for the perfect blueprint. The 5 petals of this flower mirror the five virtues that create Coherence and end energy waste:

1. Aloha (Love): The foundation of self-respect
2. Ha’aha’a (Humility): Knowing when to ask for help and when to rest
3. Lōkahi (Unity): Ensuring your mind and body work as one system
4. ʻOluʻolu (Agreeableness): The ability to adapt gracefully
5. Ahonui (Patience): The long-term view that prevents daily burnout

These 5 simple rules are how we build an unbreakable, thriving life.

Which one of the 5 needs your focus today?

1/2 🌀 Emotional Healing & Self-Respect.

If you feel anxious, your brain tries to use thinking to fix the problem. You might know why you are stressed, but your body still feels unsafe. This is because real emotional healing needs more than just talking.

Most healing is Top-Down: we use the thinking part of the brain (the mind) to control the body. But long-term stress and trauma are kept in the body's survival parts. Your logical mind cannot tell your body to stop feeling threatened.

This morning, my lower back and right shoulder were locked up. I realised this was a deep sadness from my cat passing away. My mind accepted the loss, but my body kept the shock and sadness as a physical block.

This is why the Resonant Life OS starts with a Bottom-Up foundation. We open our awareness to let the body's wisdom lead the healing process.

2/2 Somatic Healing.

My own healing started with respecting my body. After using an electric heating pad gently for safety, I followed the ALOHA Way (our 5-step method) to make repair happen:

Attunement (Kindness): I used Tea Meditation to focus my mind and treat my body's needs with kindness, not blame.

Oscillation (Agreeableness): I then did Qigong movement. This intentional movement talks directly to the nervous system. It helps release the energy of grief and trauma. It moves the feeling state from Force (tension) to Power (flow).

Lightness, Harbouring, and Allowance: The rest was about resting more, creating a safe space using a gratitude journal, and accepting that this deep processing must take its own time.

We treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—to build a stable, strong system.

What is one Bottom-Up practice you honour in your life? Let's talk.

I created a simple code for remembering the 12 main energy pathways (Meridians) used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)!

TCM sees the body as an energy map where life force (Qi) must flow smoothly.

The 12 primary channels are split into Yin (Inner Flow) and Yang (Outer Flow).

YIN Meridians (The Inner Flow): Supine or protected areas (front of body, inner limbs). Flow goes UP.

YANG Meridians (The Outer Flow): Prone of sunlit areas (back of body, outer limbs). Flow goes DOWN.

My code for the 6 Yin Meridians: PH LIPS (Inner Flow, UP the body)

P: Pericardium (The Heart Protector, Fire)

H: Heart (The Emperor, Fire)

L: Lung (Metal)

I: Liver (Wood)

P: Spleen (Earth)

S: Kidney (Water)

These channels manage the dense organs and emotional regulation.

Check the next post for the Yang channels!

Continuing the Meridian Code! This is the code for the 6 Yang Meridians: LT BUGS (Outer Flow, DOWN the body)

This group manages the hollow organs and protective/detoxification functions.

L: Large Intestine (Metal)

T: San Jiao/Triple Warmer (The Heat Regulator, Fire)

B: Bladder (The Longest Detox Channel, Water)

U: Stomach (Earth)

G: Gall Bladder (Wood)

S: Small Intestine (Fire)

The Central Axis: Beyond the 12, the 2 central regulators are the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel) which governs all Yin, and the Du Mai (Governing Vessel) which governs all Yang.

How I now remember: I think of Philippine (PH) LIPS (inside) for Yin; Lit Bugs (like a firefly outside) for Yang Meridians to help anchor the energy map!

This came to me during meditation earlier :)
