Did a little detour on foot today as I cycled to work. Walked up a mountain. It was tempting to pause a bit up there and enjoy the view, but hey, I am in the office now as it should be... 🙈

Hiked today to the northernmost tripoint on earth.
Very remote area, intensive landscape, dramatic sky.

I haven't posted on here for quite a while. Here's a hike that I completed on Sunday. It's the infamous Grouse Grind in North Vancouver! Very hard!

That was the easy section.
Now comes the hard part.
The trail gets steeper and narrower from here.
So, do an honest check in:
Feeling tired already? Used up all your water? Light-headed or dizzy?
This is the best place to turn around. Beyond this point, downhill travel is not allowed.

Went into the mountains today. Blue sky, some clouds and sunny, warm, yet I got terribly cold eating lunch on the peak at 2652m.

Es ging heute in die Berge. Blauer Himmel, etwas Wolken, Sonnenschein und Wärme - dennoch wurde mir total kalt, als ich auf 2652m mein Picnic ass.

A good way to explore the country, always intrigued to go from urban area to lonely forests.
Started easy with 10k the first day, finished with 40k on the last day.
3 tägige Wanderung auf einer der Routen von schweizmobil.ch. Faszinierend, wie man neben stark besiedelten Gebieten plötzlich in verlassenen Wäldern unterwegs ist.
Am ersten Tag lockere 10km, am letzten Tag dann 40km.
