Went to Räsävaara observation tower in Koli yesterday. Great views, but the best part was the mesmerizing dance of dragonflies that was going on. For some reason dozens of them were flying over the treetops (never seen them that high), gliding in the wind and doing flybys just over our heads. Turn the sound up to hear the rattling of their wings.

Patikointi lankkujen päällä ja kuurosokeus on hurja yhdistelmä. Fokus oli 200% tasapainoilussa. Keho kytki survival-moden päälle ja jokainen lihas oli jännittynyt. Tein kaikkeni pysyäkseni pystyssä, sillä mulla on todella huono tasapaino vamman vuoksi. 💀 Mun piti rauhoitella välillä itseäni puhumalla itsekseni ääneen, jotta en mene paniikkiin. Valkoisesta kepistä ei muuten ole yhtään apua patikoinnissa. 🦯🙅♀️
Mut mä selvisin tuolta kaatumatta ja enkä mennyt lukkoon. Hyvä mä! 👏
Näin polun varrella pieniä lakkoja ja siellä oli myös mustikoita. En maistanut taaskaan marjoja. Ties jos vaikka joku on tehnyt hätäpissat niiden marjojen päälle. 🤷♀️😂
Sit mä näin heinäsirkan. Se oli helppo nähdä, kun pysyi lankussa paikallaan. Ei meinannut lähteä pois tieltä. Samu varmaan kaipasi seuraa. 😇

Looking for a space in #Tampere for a video conference (1,5-2 hours) on August 7 or 8 during daytime (date tbc). I'll be travelling, staying in a mökki with unclear mobile coverage & German phone provider #Telekom doesn't cooperate with Finnish #Elisa.
It's for an unpaid project, so no budget for commercial co-working spaces & I have no local library card.
But I'd be happy to consume in a cafe or bring treats from Germany (sweets, booze, etc) for offers from the #fediverse.
In Finland, charging fees for tuition is illegal, which means rich kids have to mix with normal kids, which means rich families had to make sure the schools the kid went to were good, which meant the rich were prompted to invest in public schools. Finland, take a bow.
