A beautiful tortoiseshell cat curled up (shrimp style) on a green fuzzy blanket. Both front paws are out and one is turned towards the camera revealing black toe beans getting warmed in the sun. Her black tipped tail is curled around her back leg (the orange one). Her reddish brown fur is glowing in the warm light. Her eyes are closed tight and ears are perked up but relaxed.

• the compulsory digital ID is being reported as having been dropped in the UK
• Elbit Systems (an Israeli company) will not be given the contract to train the British army, ostensibly because of corruption, I would like to imagine there was more

Sir Keir Starmer has abandoned plans for mandatory digital IDs for workers in the 13th significant U-turn of his premiership.

The prime minister had previously announced that they would be compulsory to verify the right to work, as part of a crackdown on migration.

Good morning and happy Wednesday!

Last night, I learned, that if you put a candy cane in a hot glue gun, it will melt and you can use it like hot glue.

Which is helpful when making a gingerbread house.

Just putting that information out there.

So, yea.

Have a great one.

EDIT: As others have rightly pointed out, glue guns are not designed for food prep. This is outside of the norm for this device. So, YMMV and there may be issues with trace metals or plastics from the glue gun itself getting into your liquid candy cane. But it DOES actually work and it does make, crafting a decorative gingerbread house a LOT faster.

I've finally watched #Wednesday season one. I really liked it. I really liked how I thought it was going to be some sort of sitcom, but it actually was a whodunit. But at the same time, the few weaknesses of the show come from the fact that the ropes are the same usual tropes and ropes, and the most "surprising" parts were also the most predictable.
Still Wednesday is just perfect and a lot of secondary characters are fun too. (1/2)
