Today, at the Maker Faire, someone came to my booth...after a brief look at my art, they said "oh! I see your work on Mastodon!"

Turns out they see it when @artcollisions boosts my posts.

Things may not go "viral" here, but the connections are more important...more human....more real.

And yes, they bought some of my art.

I also met someone today who told me about a safety class for laser cutters...here in San Francisco! Super big win, for me!

Thanks to #FinishOrFrogAlong, I was finally able to let go of this project that just wasn't calling to me anymore.

Nordic roots (Estonian, Germanic) -a culture of no waste and finishing what you start - can be helpful, but not always. This shawl had become a torment. Fun to plan, not fun to knit.

It's OK to frog. It's healthy to frog!
