I'm excited to reveal the artwork for this year's LIMESTONE CYCLING TOUR t-shirt. I was asked to make a design that included bicycles and downtown Maysville.

This woodcut design uses 3 colors - and white- to keep the t-shirt printing process simple -and in budget

If you'd like to to participate in this year's ride (and get one of their beautiful t-shirts) more information is available on their website:

Hey, c'est le petit rappel que il y a encore des crochets ergonomiques et des règles de lecture dispo sur ma boutique !

https://boutique.chardondebois.fr/produits

My tablecloth is finally done! Started this last February. It's an adaptation of a pattern by Elizabeth Hiddleson from the mid-1900s. 22 balls of Tulipan 15 thread (7,700 metres), and a 1.5 Japan steel hook.

This was challenging to say the least. Ms. Hiddleson was no pattern writer and used a confusing combination of pictures for you to follow if you couldn't understand her written instructions.

I am no longer nervous about the pineapple pattern! Once you've done a couple, the next hundreds are easy 🤣

I had 16 balls of the thread in my stash and figured it would be enough. Nope. I tracked it down in Croatia, but had to order from a yarn shop in Slovakia to get shipping to Canada. I ordered 16 and now have 10 balls in my stash. And yes, the cost of shipping was darn near the cost of the thread! And yes, customs tore the packaging apart! I worried about opening it for an hour, but all good!

To say I'm pleased with this is a major understatement.
