Fly! (2025)
Taken from my balcony (it's not fair I know) during the nightly migration of crows from West Vancouver, East, to Burnaby. A fun and daily event to enjoy at sunset.

For #MountainMonday: An early October sunset in Washington State's North Cascades Range featuring Mount Shuksan. Photographed from Huntoon Point on Kulshan Ridge in the Mount Baker Wilderness. Mount Shuksan itself lies in North Cascades National Park.

I've visited this location many times and one never really knows what to expect. It sits at right around 4,000 feet elevation (okay, technically 3,999 feet) which makes it a unique area in this part of West Virginia.
From blue skies, wind, rain, clouds, fog, and so on - I've seen it all up here. And even on the worst of mornings I have sometimes captured wonderful sunrises.
This is from one of my recent trips earlier this month.

A little #MountainMonday meets #MilkyWayMagic
Btw, that bright dot to the right of the core is Mars, while the brightest on the left is Jupiter. As well, the yellow clouds is city light pollution reflecting off wildfire smoke

For #MountainMonday I have one of my favourite mountains in the #FraserValley of #BritishColumbia - Silver Lake. Hope Mountain is often reflected in Silver Lake here, and makes for a nice spot to visit.
