The King's Stage of our tour last week followed a route through various spectacular landscapes. Steep cliffs (lots of air underneath the shoes), purple and green rocks, plateaus followed by sudden steep descends and pretty much at the end we ended up at this wonderful place, which reminded me of the movie The Gorge.

For #MountainMonday this time the table mountain Kistenst枚ckli (2748m), local name Muot da Rubi. From the Bifertenh眉tte it is a mere 45 minutes climb, so perfect for an early morning hike, before starting the actual day trip.
Passend zum #silentsunday durfte ich heute beim Abstieg von dem Zeinenfurgel (2434m) in den Glarner #Alpen diese eindr眉ckliche quasi Mondlandschaft festhalten.
Dank des wechselhaften Wetters (jedoch kein Tropfen Regen!) kamen noch sehr eindr眉ckliche Wolkenformationen hinzu, die diese Tour zus盲tzlich mit Sch枚nheit w眉rzten.

Been doing a lot of backpacking recently, reaching some new sides of Tahoma (Rainier), Koma Kulshan (Baker) and a little in between. Im a bit behind on posts, but Ive been exploring some of the biggest glaciers and finding some of the oldest trees Washington state still has. More stories to come, seasons changing, new opportunities arising and the world has much to process. There is peace in the mountains. Hope you are finding it.

The only clear skies we had today. As soon as legt, the clouds gave us a perimeter of 100 meter clear sight. We hiked a 6h15m T4 fully in the clouds with was a mental challenge (always a bit eerie on a ridge with wind, cold temps, no sight and no brake off option). Safe in the hut with a beer. Good day.
