Mars Express orbits Mars and did not fly through the atmosphere. So where do such (see ⬆️) fly by videos come from?
They are processed data, combining a mosaic (so collection of many images combined into one) made from orbit with topography information and then rendered into a video, based on a pre-defined camera path through the landscape.
