For instance, cities can
▪️ Install Leading Pedestrian Intervals to make those on foot more visible
▪️ Use "rest in red" to halt reckless drivers after dark
▪️ Lower the green wave speed on high-crash corridors

Note: None of these require AI or V2X mumbo jumbo.

Pushback from drivers is rare; they may not even notice.

People seem to be less and less confident speaking their beliefs #online.

In this vein, I exhort you all to help redirect the knowledge we generate online TO THE STREET.

We need to educate and infuriate those outside our online bubbles.
