Comment le conducteur peut-il me voir moi toute petite sur mon vélo ?
Ces monstres n'ont pas leur place en ville.
Ça déborde de partout, c'est agressif, ça fait flipper quand ça roule derrière toi.

Hi Mastodon. I'm curious if you have any #StreetPhotography accounts in particular I should follow?
I really enjoy #Urban#UrbanExploration #photography and would appreciate the nudge!
Some interesting street shots from this evening, including one of a lovely taxi driver who actually stopped me to ask me to take his photo, just because I was walking around carrying a camera.

I think, one of the most fascinating genres of photography is street photography. And even though it’s fascinating and I really would like to try it, I feel some sort of fear.
When doing street photography, you have to be fast and you have to be invisible because people start acting different when they notice you taking a photo of them. So asking strangers on the street: „Hey, would you mind me taking a picture of you“ is not really an option. But when taking pictures of strangers on the street, this can also make a creepy impression, especially when photographing women or - even worse - kids. And this is where street photography fear comes into play. Probably women taking photos have an advantage here as they are generally unsuspicious, while a man taking pictures on the street could be seen as a creep.
I have seen some videos from street photographers on YouTube who claimed that they never got confronted with people they photographed, while there were others who were stating that they had been labelled as a pervert. This is a situation I don’t want to find myself in.
How about your experience with street photography? How are you dealing with it?
Would really like to hear your thoughts on this.

Last day enjoying this calendar as wallpaper on my second monitor in the office. It's one of my fave shots. Good memory of a nice evening spent with mates.
