For too long we've had the subscription model forced upon us to access software like Lightroom or Capture One. There are genuine alternatives for editing your photos, and you might find they're even better than what you're currently using. All I ask is that you take a look for yourself.

This is one of my favorite photographs, which I made on a moody autumn day on US 550 looking down on the Animas River flowing past the base of Kendall Mountain just south of Silverton, Colorado.
