@opensuse uhm... any #Fedora users around here ( @konstantin ? :D) -- can I still upgrade releases that reached end-of life (going from one major version to the next one)? For example I had 39 installed and didn't upgrade it in time to 40 and then 39 reached end-of-life and and the current one is 41?
Looking at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fedora_Linux#Releases I *think* I should have for up to ~2 years since the release of the version to upgrade to the next version? (why? becuase it would be my fathers machine and I'm not sure how often I would visit to do the upgrade/maintenance and I would love to avoid ending up in the situation of broken system yet still being able to do the upgrade once in a while when I visit 😊 )

@opensuse argh... everywhere it says "use #Yast to change language in #opensuse Leap" but they removed it in Leap 16.0! argh...
And I just read Nate's blogpost (https://pointieststick.com/2025/10/25/kde-linux-deep-dive-package-management-is-amazing-which-is-why-we-dont-include-it/) and he recommends using #Fedora #KDE (https://fedoraproject.org/kde/) so I guess I'll try that :D
Kinda sad because I wanted to use "european" distribution :(
@konstantin Here we go. KDE 43 beta version. First reaction: YES it has auto flipping over the Framework 12 screen when putting it in tent mode. 🎉 #Framework12 #Fedora
@arcticleo I don't know, my main desktop is running stable... it's more for after work when I can forget how technology works lol 😅

Can I get #WayDroid ( #Android #LineageOS) to use my phone number somehow for calls and everything? Is there a service for this?
Do you use your #Linux / #Fedora laptop for #telephony?

As free Windows 10 support ends today, consider upgrading to a Linux operating system! You will continue to be protected with security updates, but you will also gain total freedom for your device.
Doesn't have to be Fedora - look around for the Linux distro that works for you. :)

The silence from software projects about @frameworkcomputer supporting #fascism is speaking volumes.
Does @jorge of #bluefin, the @bazzite_gg #bazzite team, @fedora #fedora or @ubuntu #ubuntu have anything to say about this?
It's not going away. Framework is actively promoting you as part of their big #nazi embracing tent.
You on board? Is the free hardware worth supporting fascists?
So far @ariadne of @alpinelinux #alpine has demonstrated their ethics & willingness to protect the community.
@libreoffice @gnome Yes yes. My bad. I'm running version 25.8.1.1. When I open a .csv file with LibreOffice Calc I see this Text Import window. The problem is that it doesn't fit to my screen size and for that reason the bottom buttons aren't visible.
@libreoffice @gnome I also've the same problem with Gnome Image Viewer's Keyboard Shortcuts window.
