I've been using #libreoffice for 10 years in my consulting business & i love it. all my clients use #msoffice, and my presentations & spreadsheets are seamless💙

I do very much want libre to release a tablet version. i always use 2-in-1 laptops, so i can notate on the fly, but i can't draw freehand in libreoffice
especially being able to sketch diagrams or mark up things in the presentation app. i really miss that feature from powerpoint😞

Having to answer this shit every time I do a "paste without formatting" in LibreOffice Calc is real annoying.

No other application I've used is uncertain about what I mean when I use Ctrl+Shift+V.

Urgent LibreOffice help, I need to not have this block my day of job applications.

I've been recommended a new resume layout, but I can't get this section to be not spaced very wide.

The only difference between the two screenshots is having 3 columns applied to the section. My bullet style doesn't have extra spacing, but once it is in 3 columns the spread out :(

I'm tasked to migrate a small organization to @libreoffice but the forms from MS Access don't come over to LO Base. Is there a way to automatically import the forms, or I actually have to manually recreate them all by hand?

Der er pt. hele 38 videoer at boltre sig med. De spænder over Writer, Calc og Impress, og så kommer Leif også med gode idéer til bedre PDF-håndtering og hvordan du kan bidrage til Open Source.

#WritersCoffeeClub Jan. 4 - Share a tool of your trade.

#Emacs #OrgMode on the digital side. This is where all my drafts start out unless they are short and simple/already complete, or have special formatting needs requiring a word processor. I manage versions with #git, which Emacs greatly simplifies with the #Magit package, and once I'm ready to share or submit I export the .org file to .odt, and then to .docx, and edit with #LibreOffice Writer from there. Basically Org Mode meets the drafting and structuring needs Scrivener used to on Windows and Mac.

On the analogue side I like to carry around little one-sheet notebooks made from used printer paper. I simply tuck them inside an old passport bag that's my daily carry and write drafts or take notes on the go before I transcribe them into the appropriate Org Mode file. WikiHow has a nice article on how to make these mini notebooks, and you can skip the stapling step if you use them as discardable temporary notes like I do. https://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Paper-Book

@ctietze I need to be able to make slides from #OrgMode files. But #Beamer cannot (and will not) be made to produce #taggedPDF output (thanks, @mxp). So rather than bang my head against #TeXLaTeX, I took a step back.
