The @kde project is doing a somewhat novel (I think?) fundraiser. It's encouraging people to donate by "adopting" apps they find useful and giving donors credit on the app's page on apps.kde.org.

Updated to #fedora43 and #kde plasma 6.5. As always, the process is smooth, fast, well-documented.
It baffles me how macOS and windows became more and more clunky and broken, while overall Linux is stable requiring minimum maintenance.

KDE Fedora 43 upgrade was so smooth 🤩! Some companies are famous for trying to make things that "just work", but this particular FOSS, maintained-by-volunteers OS raises the bar to "you don't even know something substantial happened" levels of just works.
