A few weeks ago I asked a question about which architectures #netbsd doesn't support.

Now that I have a working #xeonphi setup, I think it would be interesting if NetBSD were available.

On the one hand, it was a short-lived and obscure platform, but you can say the same about some of the other supported platforms like the DEC shark or the Sun 2 and 3.

The Double Cheeseburger Problem also leads directly to the "inflation" we're experiencing in groceries right now.

Because price has only a passing relationship with the cost of supply, a relationship that is completely opaque to the average person, AND because a grocery conglomerate's revenue is an aggregate of all their stores/schemes/investments etc, they can basically charge whatever they want. High, low, mid, nothing - it doesn't actually matter for the most part.

@richpuchalsky Our local food bank happily accepted an entire car load (not just the trunk, the back seat and the front seat too) of lots of different types of squash last year. (But this year our squash harvest was dismal. Sigh.)

US working culture may be brain dead — I’d call it exploitative — but did you know it’s not illegal to send your staff home on time? This is an explicit choice made by many layers of management to hurt their workers.

I work with a lot of US-based staff, not at SpaceX, and they’re able to go home on time, visit the Dr, spend time with family.

That’s a choice bosses made.

@elena @GrapheneOS Accusing tool providers of supporting illegal activities is, as GrapheneOS explains it very simply, at best misleading, most probably intentional and manipulative. A knife, cash money, or a car, or an movable ladder can be used for illegal activties. Yet, we don't arrest the makers of those tools. So why threaten GrapheneOS. And also, why not threaten Google for the same reasons. Because Graphene is a smaller actor and an easy target, a scapegoat, most probably.
