The Double Cheeseburger Problem also leads directly to the "inflation" we're experiencing in groceries right now.
Because price has only a passing relationship with the cost of supply, a relationship that is completely opaque to the average person, AND because a grocery conglomerate's revenue is an aggregate of all their stores/schemes/investments etc, they can basically charge whatever they want. High, low, mid, nothing - it doesn't actually matter for the most part.
