While I was waiting around for some aurora activity earlier this week, I played around with the OM-1's live composite mode while using my fisheye lens. I've made star trail images before, but it's way more convenient to do it in camera rather than having to stack in post-processing. The clouds created a surreal effect as they moved across the frame. This image is incomplete, as a long exposure would have shown better trailing, but I like the way it came out.

A live composite image captured with a fisheye lens from my backyard. By capturing a series of 8s photos, the camera adds new light as it arrives. Thin clouds produced the light beam effect.

The water flow splits into multiple small waterfalls when it encounters several moss-covered rocks. The long exposure gives a silky look to the water.

🌊 Ruins of Karosta Sea Forts, Latvia. What remains are fractured concrete blocks and isolated structures rising from the sea. Photographed a couple of years ago, during stormy seas. The cool smoke-like effect is created using neutral density filters, which allow for long exposure photos and produce this gorgeous ethereal effect.
