So I'm having a very large, very slow clearout.

I want to get rid of my stuff with minimal use of evil corporate platforms so I'm trying out listing it on my own website.

I've got about 35 items listed so far, maybe 100 or so more to come, once I've taken photos and so on.

This is a real #smallweb project! You have to email me to buy/claim stuff there's no checkout and no tracking or scripts of any sort. EDIT( I just remembered there is one js script to run the image gallery, but it is entirely local and doesn't send or request data anywhere.)

I think we need a hashtag for selling and giving away stuff in the UK (for non business stuff)

I thought ukForSale initially but that sounds like a political statement.

Hi Friends- humble request for help. My artwork Landscape with Red Kites is for sale and I’d love to sell it urgently to fund hospital care for my cat Flash who is critically ill.

Flash is insured with PetPlan but her vet and hospital fees are around £3500 now and the insurance limit is £4000. She’s been in hospital for 2 nights and probably needs to stay in til Monday. I also need to fund 20% of the cost myself and will have ongoing costs to manage her condition.

Flash is very ill with ketoacidosis as we discovered too late that she is diabetic. She really, really wants to live and is fighting like the bravest solider. She is showing signs of improvement as she is now eating and standing up from time to time. But still very weak and needs round the clock monitoring of her glucose levels, potassium and electrolyte levels. She is getting the best possible care at veterinary hospital.

My artwork Landscape with Red Kites is an embroidered love letter to the Dyfi Valley, produced as a commission for the National Librady of Wales initiative Celf ar Y Cyd. It measures 10 inches diameter, and is made with around 30,000 stitches. It took 60 hours to make over 3 weeks. It’s the perfect piece for any proud Welsh interior or indeed for anyone who loves Wales, wherever they are based.

As an artist I have decades of experience in exhibiting nationally and internationally, including in London’s Yinka Shonibare space. My work has won awards and I have produced work funded by the Arts Council of Wales.
