We rolled out a new nav for https://typographer.com, with fresh new search functionality from @bram I’m thrilled with how it turned out. The details of this were really fun to get right, like the subtle glass effect under the search bar and deeply integrated search on every page. You can search by family name or style, and it’s so seamless and fast.

New release from Dalton Maag that I contributed to: https://www.daltonmaag.com/font-library/dark-london.html
I'm very happy to have worked on this font. I helped with the Python code to generate texture, and with the feature code, to benchmark and optimize rendering times depending on the amount of substitutions, their order, etc.
The result is super fun to use, I couldn't stop myself while doing the QAs.
Most of the credit goes to my colleagues Maria, Ricky, and Eleni.

For the poste side, I made illustrations for each of the stories, depicting the dream-scenario. Since the available material was extremely different or non existent, this seemed the best way to make a coherent visualisation for each writing system.
20 examples of writing systems that have been dreamed by their creators. Each of them is introduced by a short dream-narrative written by Tim Brookes and show some samples of the letters or signs in Pantone gold.
Folded poster, following the layout and system of The Annex of Universal Languages, Hildegard von Bingen Lingua Ignota, The Evolution of Emoji into a Language and The Utopian Quest for a Pasigraphy

I've been using this design today. I think it looks great in screenshots, and improves a lot of those issues, especially in show-notes view (which lets the content scroll under the glass ad capsule).
In practice, though, it has a fatal flaw:
It always looks like I have a notification. And that's very distracting when it's sitting on a counter as I do stuff and I see it out of the corner of my eye.
Which I never would’ve realized until I lived with it on my phone for half a day.
