This is getting fucking ridiculous

I love the almost industrial guitar tone on this track. One of the licks reminds me of The Annoying Song, one of my favourite tracks from the Butthole Surfers album Independent Worm Saloon. Meanwhile, the rhythm reminds me of tracks by The White Stripes, Tadpole, and even Rammstein.
Here's a lovely article about Randy Rhoads from our friends at @GuitarWorld:
One thing I didn't know is Randy triple-tracked his solos. WTF? Who can play that consistently? Well, surely Fripp, and Randy too I reckon.

Hey, Portland!
Does anyone want an Epiphone SG "Bully" guitar? All black, dual humbucker, with some wood carved out (then mostly filled in) under the bridge.
It turns out I just like guitars with more mass on them (helps me stabilize) and the SG is too thin for me to enjoy playing. I could trade it in but I'd rather just see if anyone wants it first, especially because I didn't pay a lot for it and so there's not even that much I'd be looking to get back. I'm happy to throw in a guitar strap that isn't my style. I replaced one of the pots on it (I did not do a great job and used the wrong size and I widened the hole a little... not my best work BUT it is all working!)
Boosts okay/appreciated! Can/will provide pics on demand. Holds a tune as far as I can tell.

Trying very hard here never to upload to Youtube again. All part of Degoogling one's life! I've had approval from the drummer and the singer of Le Beat Group Electronique to upload bootlegs of their pub gigs starting from the 1980s. So for any oldschoolers who like foot-taping pub rock, do check it out on Makertube...

I liked the Superman movie. I will permit this Mr Gunn to make another.
@mike @movies A lovely person I know played guitar on the movie soundtrack. 😊

Once again Toyah lets us see the side of Robert we never would have known about.
(#Guitar players, notice Fripp’s chord fingerings. I’d have expected him to go back to standard tuning for this but newp.)

Not cool, Reverb. When something ends up in my search feed, I expect it to exist.

So I've been torturing this lovely 70's Peavey T-60, my first electric, for 35 years - I finally had mercy on it & took it to a guitar tech & I'm over the moon 🥰 it's like getting it back, only better 💛
'Twas in fact Rasmus, the tech, who gave me the final push; when I told him I had it he said "with original wiring?" & I was like 👂👂 what!? Turns out it's pretty unique, especially for its age - more in comment but basically the tone pot is also a reverse coil splitter 🤯 🧵

At home I currently use GhostBSD on my personal thinkpad, Linux Mint on the family/living room mini-pc, and stock SteamOS on my Steam Deck. First Linux distro: Mandrake 7.1; first BSD: FreeBSD 4.7. Played with pretty much every OS I could find, from Slackware to Plan9.
