I love how my wonderful trans girlfriend and my loud enby ass walked to drop off my voting ballot, and got invited to multiple block parties by older cishet folks.
I also love how when my amazing cis girlfriend and I take her nonbinary kiddo to the park, other kids and their cishet parents wave to us and strike up friendly conversations.
It's almost like most people* are more than happy to get to know a cute queer couple, and it's only a tiny bigoted minority that actually clutch their pearls and cause trouble.
