The cat moved to exercise/tv/games family room to contemplate life. Or at least his sudden urge to bat weird shaped objects around.

Below the cat is a puzzle someone has been working on, holiday themed with gingerbread and candy cane, judging from the color scheme. We might know more, but he is sitting in is the upside down boxes the puzzle came in. So far no paw has experimentally batted the puzzle around, but proximity of Cat -> Puzzle -> Couch almost guarantees missing pieces before this is over.
