I’m currently halfway through season 3 of my #Babylon5 rewatch. A fascist president using a paramilitary organization and xenophobia to become dictator is not that different from watching the news though. This was supposed to be entertaining ☹️

So I decided on a whim to re-watch the first (post-pilot) episode of #Babylon5 this evening: Midnight on the Firing Line.
And gosh does it do some interesting character work with the Centauri right from the very start.
The episode - running on the assumption you may not have seen the pilot - opens with a (somewhat) unprovoked attack on a Centauri civilian outpost, while on Babylon 5 itself, the Centauri ambassador Londo Mollari deals with the political fallout of the strike.
