I put slow-moving insects into the fridge prior to photographing them to slow them down. I showed the grandchildren an image of this Rove Beetle yesterday and there was GREAT excitement and squeals of delight when I told them I kept it in the fridge. Not so much when they saw it was only 3mm long. Amazing things, modern macro lenses! #Insect #Macro #Photography
