Crocus bananza
Crocuses are busy blooming in lawns, peeking out from leaves, being fresh and telling us spring is near

@Metamere Two other photography hashtags I've seen around are #FensterFreitag (German for "window Friday") which is limited to, as one might expect, photographs of windows, posted on Fridays; and #SilentSunday, which are posted on Sundays, and, as far as I can tell, is focused on quiet, contemplative scenes, usually landscapes. That might suit you better.
@Metamere I think @FediTips published a long list a week or so ago? Lots of niche photography hashtags around including #Bloomscrolling and #Mosstodon

Having packed up my camera gear and came back in the warm, I looked at the photos I'd taken. And compared them to the best shot I took last year, and realised what I was missing in this year's shots. Closeness. I set everything up again, framed the shot as close as I could get to fit it all in. And...
Yeah, I'm happy with that one.

Another technically excellent snow drop photo. But still doesn't quite give me the "wow" I'm looking for in a snow drop photo.
The sun is out, the snow drops are in bloom, that can mean only one thing.
Another day in my ongoing quest to take the perfect photo of a snow drop.
First of the good shots today. Excellent definition of the petals, lots of the plant is in focus, fully detached from the background. I'm not 100% certain on the shape of the plant itself as to if this is the perfect photo. But from a photography pov, it's technically excellent.
Took some compost down to the allotment at lunchtime. Bitterly cold with the wind but very good to see the lungwort starting to flower 🙂 #permaculture #gardening #wildflower #bloomscrolling #AllotmentLife

Sunday morning in the yard, the Whiteleaf Manzanita (I believe Arctostaphylos viscida viscida) is blooming and the resident Anna's Hummingbird is taking advantage.
