@cstross I stopped following the starship hype train because of... (points in all directions), but I'd take the price of this early contract with a grain of salt. It's in SpaceX's interest to imply they'll reach this kind of price, and it's very easy to do that by selling a flagship mission at a loss. I don't think the starship reusability model is qualitatively different from the space shuttle, and we all know how much that didn't pan out as expected.

How is account migration on #Mastodon these days? And which servers are most likely to be sustainable while not overloaded or over censored?

I've become increasingly unhappy with what appears to be silent censorship on Mastodon.social, effectively giving cover for war criminals and genocide, so I'm looking for a new server for this account.

I last migrated a few years ago and it was ok. I don't mind losing my post history or followers. Ease and who I follow is more important.
