Hospital for yet another checkup on my heart after having an operation a couple of years ago (and being given the all clear last year). With the AuDHD Dx they don't want to give me any meds that might stress my heart unnecessarily. Fair enough. Have my tests done. Apparently I have 'amazing' blood pressure and the heart rate of an athlete. Bit weird but yay. Finally get in to see the cardiology doctor. Different from my normal one. And he starts asking why I want to be autistic and tells me it's so trendy at the moment. That lots of people are after adhd medication for fun. That it's the human condition and a spectrum and everyone's on it and he's probably a bit autistic aswell or whatever. Asked (scoffing) who diagnosed me. I gently explained that it was about 40 people over 3 years and that there were endless assessments and interviews and meetings and tests. Made an unconvinced noise then said well I suppose we better do some further tests on you then. 👍
I remember when I was a kid thinking doctors and lawyers and teachers and nurses and police were morally beyond reproach. Held to a higher standard. Like Cameron Poe in Con Air. What is happening. I'm pretty sure a doctor of specialist medicine just told me autism is made up and I'm being a silly boy and messing about wasting everyones time. Am I? Am I who's wrong? I'm fully prepared to accept this might be the case and that I've been caught up in some mass hysteria and it's just my natural rhythms and how I communicate that has made me *appear* to be ND when in fact I'm not and it's just some Venn overlap that's been misdiagnosed. Maybe all those people were so keen to diagnose another one that I got caught up with it all and thought..... yeah, actually maybe I *am*. But actually I'm not. It's very confusing. I'm being a bit glib but there's a bit of me that doesn't *not* think that a little. Most unpleasant. 2 stars.
What I have done on more than one occasion is interrupt the person going off on a tangent by saying "I'm not *asking* you about [tangent]. I am asking about [whatever I was there for].
Sometimes it would take a few tries.
I discontinued the alcaftadine eye drops yesterday to see what happens and my eyes are a bit better (!) but there are too many variables to draw a conclusion.
step-up to 3x dosing of fexofenadine would have only reached steady state today. and, there was some rain over the weekend, so pollen is likely down.
I'm wondering if I developed a sensitivity to the preservative... well, seeing as the olopatadine eye drops I ordered to compare have 3x the concentration, I'll soon find out.
also, by "better" I mean don't feel as weird and aren't quite as strikingly bloodshot. they're still very bloodshot - like way worse than from smoking a ton of weed. however, I woke up with significantly more crusties than before.
there is no preservative-free allergy eye drop on the US OTC market, so if it turns out I've become sensitive to benzaklonium chloride, I am gonna have a bad time.

But the evidence is all around you. They like this shit. In so much as Trump voters are disastisfied with him it's because the fascism is affecting them. They are VERY MUCH for putting the boots to you and yours.
And that can't be explored, because if it was, the media would have to start asking questions like "what are we gonna do about all these fucking nazis even when Dollar Store Hitler goes?"
That question, can't be asked. So they will not talk about his supporters being fascists.
The reality is what I told you it was back years ago:
About a third of the country are Nazis, about a third of the country are people preyed upon by Nazis, and about a third of the country are selfish maggots who don't give a fuck so long as the line goes up and they can own two houses and a boat.
What Trump has lost? Is the fash curious middle. He still has that third. They ain't going anywhere. And they are fascists.
There's even a study that talks about why that number is a third.

Dann sollen Meldedaten, Polizeidaten, Handydaten, Polizeiakten und Sozialdaten in Systeme wie Palantir Technologies fließen. Alles wird verknüpft. Alles wird durchleuchtet. Noticed some servers had a recent spike in the remote media attachment cache. My best guess is that it's related to https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/37359. What I could identify matches the reported issue.
For most servers, this self-resolves: Masto.host clears remote media cache after 7 days, so usage returns to normal once it expires. Alternatively, setting Public Timelines to "Authenticated users only" (Administration -> Server Settings -> Discovery) can reduce the crawl surface (but not fully stop it).
@mastohost Ah! This might explain why I needed to bump my server’s plan last week I guess. I’m happy to leave it there for a few weeks to see if things settle down.
