"code is indeed like law in that both are rules. However, unlike laws, code is not understood to be political and by extension, algorithmic management is not understood as a political process. As both laws and code are created in a context in which some interests are stronger than others, however, it is important to view their implementation as a political arena." (Simon Schaupp)
