Day 21 - matcha bowl
I’ve only dabbled in ceramics but I’m thankful for the time I got to spend with it.
I hope to be able to return when I’m healthier enough to have a craft which involves time & clean up a bit more strictly.

Day 20
Does anyone else remember when one of Yayoi Kusama’s pumpkins was swept into the sea during a typhoon?
It felt like such a metaphor to me for the last (now) decade. Oh to be a storm & sea tossed pumpkin! I had a postcard of that exact pumpkin, and knew what I had to do.
May the seas & typhoons be gentle with you, pump-kin.
day 19
day 18 - sea candle
Day 17 - Pop Art
I'm falling behind again, and would love some #alt4me help with these please. Thank you thank you!!
For today's #DecembArt post, I'm sharing an attempt at protest art with angry penguins. This was for a "Hands Off Science" demonstration. Yes, this was around the time I started drawing penguins.

Years ago, back when we were still on Twitter, a whole bunch of us shared art with the #ArtAdventCalendar hashtag. Just artists sharing beautiful works, no sales pitch.
Since then, some of us have continued on, here on Mastodon and the greater Fediverse.
Over on Bluesky, 'JayIsPainting' encourages artists to participate there.
Wherever you're active, share your own artworks, starting Dec 1st.
I'm going to use #DecembArt, to be more inclusive. You can too

Hmmm....maybe we should use a new tag, like #DecembArt instead, here on the Fediverse? To avoid confusion, and also make it more obviously inclusive? I've never been completely comfortable with the overly-Christmas aspect of the tag.
