@katexochen thanks, it solved that problem, now it runs \0/ ... but I can't access the service with my browser /0\ , I guess it's a purely docker issue now? I've added:
ExposedPorts = {
"8000/tcp" = {};
};
and 8000/tcp shows in docker ps and docker inspect, and that's the port the app binds to, but my browser says unable to connect on http://localhost:8000/ :'(
@coderbyheart none of the above. MyEndpointAPIURL
@ozoned yeah, but that still doesn't stop ghost towns from occurring. Not everyone can host their own social network, and the way we're currently building we regularly end up with ghost towns as leadership burns out and chases everyone out of their town
@thisismissem Excellent point, as always. I'm hoping that we find a way to make our digital identities a way for us to move into different apps and services.
I don’t find this effective at all. He can’t even pretend to be tough.
19-year-old Jorge Ruiz, a Mexican immigrant in Alabama on an H-2B visa, was convicted of murder after a fatal car crash.
He was initially sentenced to the maximum possible punishment, longer than what prosecutors had requested: 99 years.

As individuals, it's usually easy to avoid funding publicly terrible people. If we do make that mistake, it's usually easy to say "my bad" and stop doing it.
For example:
A few months ago I bought a Framework 16. That's my bad.
/me stops buying from Framework
See?
Every purchase is a vote.
@hruske thank you, this is super useful!
@rysiek
If anyone wants to go deeper into this, the percentage of nominal power actually produced is known as the capacity factor.

Ich bezahle von meinen Steuern lieber fünf Betrüger*innen als dass auch nur eine Person alles verliert, weil sie zum Beispiel krank ist.
SPD ist halt auch keine Partei für soziale Politik.
If you stop and think about it, the idea of being able to sift in a fraction of a second through almost the entire breadth of human knowledge is an extraordinary ability. It was a truly amazing tool, a significant step forward in human development. How was it possible that a handful of misguided C-suite executives managed to effectively destroy one of the most powerful tools that we had to deal with knowledge? It's insane if you stop and think about it for a second.
@gabrielesvelto I suggest kagi.com - pay a smallish fee to get search results ad free and (in my experience) really pretty good on relevance and cover

@vnzstc Credo che qualcosa di simile a quello che descrivi potrebbe emergere dopo lo scoppio dell'attuale bolla.

My Dad's on the lookout for a reasonable e-book reader. No Android, no color, no LCD screen - eInk only.
It's been over a decade I last bought an ebook reader, and the Kindle Paperwhite we bought back then still functions great (it never connected to the internet), so I'm a bit out of my depth.
I was looking at a Kobo Clara BW, and I seem to recall reading favourable reviews of Kobo devices.
Is this a good one? Or is there any better one in a similar price range?
For various reasons, not interested in second hand devices, nor DIY or hacked customs. Dad needs something that can be bought off the shelf of a random local shop (or ordered online, shipping to Hungary without horrible tarrifs).
