As you feel in 🇨🇦 #Canada, many people in Germany and the 🇪🇺 EU are repelled and alienated by the #policies of the #US administration, which has launched a battle against #freedom and #democracy. The digital platforms of #BigTech provide important tools for this.
Fortunately, various initiatives have formed in #Europe that are committed to #digitalsovereignty. For example, our action alliance launched a campaign two years ago to encourage #universities to #eXit and start using #Mastodon.
Other initiatives such as #ByeByeElon, #WissXit, #QuitX, @leavex and #SaveSocial have pursued similar goals, and we now have some successes: almost all universities 👨🎓 have left #X, and many have became active on Mastodon, see
