The anti-abortion bill has stalled in the Senate of South Carolina, which would have made it the most restrictive abortion law in the #UnitedStates 🇺🇸.
Apparently jailing women for 30 years was something many #GOP members (& all of the #Democrats) would not accept as law, & attempts by other #Republicans to soften the bill were rejected.
Even the Governor was not thrilled with the bill.
