At #FOSDEM I promised people that if you attend the talk by @nicorikken and myself you will feel better afterwards. From the feedback we received I think we accomplished this.

We had a great gathering for I ❤️ Free Software Day #ilovefs in Amsterdam! We had a simultaneous Dutch and English reading of a
Ada & Zangemann by @kirschner of @fsfe. Afterwards we had a discussion with @tommi and @mayel of @Bonfire . It was such a pleasure to work with @nicorikken and @Holly . Thank you to everyone who came for the afternoon and brought their kids! Great to read to the next generation.

بعد از فیلم بچهها نقاشیهای کتاب رو رنگ کردن و مثلاً به سبک آدا و دوستاش، بستنیهایی با شکلهایی که خودشون دوست داشتن کشیدن.
یکی از مربیهای مهد هم فایل استیکرهای کتاب رو پیدا کرد و روی کاغذ چسبی چاپ کرد که هر بچهای مال خودش رو با قیچی ببره و ببره خونه.

I think you already know how important your book "Ada & #Zangemann" is for our free software movement. But something inside me still thinks that you underestimate it!
Meanwhile I have read the book (or watched the movie, or heard the audio book) tens of times with my daughter and every time I do, I am astonished how beautiful, relatable, and encompassing the story and the drawings are. I see how deep it touches not only her creativity and sense of freedom seeking, but also mine.

This was our community's final in-person gathering of the year for free software enthusiasts, held privately.
We designated the year 1404 (in the Persian calendar) as the year for promoting free software culture.
Based on this, we organized various events and conferences to introduce this culture, and similarly pursued diverse promotional approaches to amplify the voice of free software.
The adoption of free software has had positive impacts in Iran.
Now, with a record of 500 active Delta Chat servers during Iran's internet blackout period, we made an effort to hold this final gathering.
We have named the new year as the year for promoting decentralized #free_software tools and will continue to pursue it.
May the new year in a free Iran allow us to both host events introducing books like #Ada and #Zangemann, and promote free, decentralized tools.
