🧵 Continuing the Mario works, here's a voxel interpretation of Donkey Kong level 4. I made this in the mid-2000s by extruding quad-polygons in 3ds Max, because there were no dedicated voxel editors yet (and no Minecraft either 🙂).

My most recent commission–a lovely beach in Malta! One of my larger pieces as well; 16x20 gesso board. I'm not sure why, but I find rocks so difficult to paint. I'm never sure if it's better to work dark to light, or vice versa, or how to keep the brushstrokes looking realistically geometric. At least for this little beach, it managed to work out! 😅
