One of the Bald Eagles I spotted earlier this week at a large gathering of eagles. Based on my bird book, this eagle is in its fourth year.

A Bald eagle photographed today on the coast of Vancouver Island. I looked for 'active' nests but found only old ones. It looks like they are not fixing old ones or building new ones yet. However they were lots of mature eagles and they were vocal. Mating is about to start.
