For this, my very first #wrensday, I present to you this tiny pompom of a bird with a jaunty, stubby little tail.

A very small, very spherical brown bird perched jauntily on a small horizontal branch, body facing the camera and head turned to the side, perky tail held straight up. There's slight barring and speckling to their plumage, much stronger on their tail than on their breast, in an almost pixelated pattern. They're slightly obscured by blurred greenery in the foreground.

A tiny round bird with a giant head and stubby tail held straight up, their side facing the camera as they perch in a tangle of dead branches. They're assorted shades of brown, their tail and wings the darkest and reddest brown, with an almost pixelated pattern to them. Their breast is beige, with a beige eyebrow above their eye.

The same bird as in the first image, on the same perch but now facing the camera, their head turned to the side, expression fierce and tail held straight up.
